Located in the northern part of Zimbabwe, Mana Pools is yet another place in the country recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a national park notorious for its series of islands, canals, sandbanks and oxbow lakes, which attract wild visitors from a wide variety, including elephants, leopards, cheetahs and buffalo, which come close to aquatic animals like hippos and Nile crocodiles.
